The convener committee has been formed for the formation of Alumni Association of the Department of Law and Justice, Metropolitan University Sylhet on Saturday 10th March 2018. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Metropolitan University Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury was the Chief Guest of the programme. The Dean of the School of Law Professor Dr. M. Rabiul Hossain, former Dean of the School Barrister Md. Arash Ali, Registrar Mohammad FR Tanvir, Assistant Professor Sheikh Ashrafur Rahaman, Assistant Professor Md. Sher-E-Alam, Senior Lecturer Barrister Abul Fazal Chowdhury, Lecturer Kaniz Kanta, Lecturer Mithu Akter, Guest Faculty, Shezin Wazia Hussain, Assistant Proctor Adv. Abbas Uddin, Assistant Registrar Adv. Lukman Ahmed Chowdhury also present in the programme. The convener committee was formed by making Ms. Fatema Imrose (Student of LL.B first Batch) as the convenor, Md. Lutfur Rahman Limon (Student of LL.B second batch) , Prabal Chowdhury Pujon (student of LL.B fifth batch), Md. Wageehuddin Tariq (student of LL.B sixth batch), Hussain Ahmed Shipon (student of LL.B seventh batch), Tasnuva Tazin (student of LL.B eighth batch), Md Furahim Hussain (student of LL.B tenth batch) , MM Zia Uddin (student of LL.B tenth batch), Anwar Alam (student of LL.B eleventh batch) as Joint convenor , 45 general members and Shah Shahadat Ali Shaki (student of LL.B ninth batch) as the member secretary. This committee will formulate the constitution of Alumni Association within next six months and take necessary steps to form a full committee.
