Dr. Habib Laskar from Assam University paid a visit to Metropolitan University
Dr.
Habib Laskar Senior faculty member and PhD supervisor of Assam University in
India paid a visit to Metropolitan University on 10th November 2023.
Dr. Habib Laskar, a distinguished senior faculty member and PhD supervisor from
Assam University in India. Dr. Laskar, renowned for his contributions to
academia, currently serves in the Department of Business Administration at
Assam University, Silchar, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the
academic community.
In addition to his role at Assam University, Dr. Laskar has previously served as a faculty member at Albaha University in Saudi Arabia, showcasing his international expertise, particularly in the AACSB Accreditation process. The visit commenced with a warm welcome extended by Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque, the Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University, who presented Dr. Laskar with a bouquet of flowers as a gesture of hospitality. The Dean of the School of Business and Economics Professor Dr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin; Registrar of the University Mr. Tarek Islam; Assistant Professor, Md. Saidur Rahaman; Assistant Professor, Nishath Anjum also present at that time.
During
his visit, Dr. Habib Laskar expressed his fascination with the expansive campus
of Metropolitan University, emphasizing the positive impact of the university's
environment.
Dr.
Habib Laskar conducted an insightful session titled "Neural Behavior and
Everyday Decision Making." The session garnered active participation from
both teachers and students of the Department of Business Administration at
Metropolitan University, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
