In a remarkable initiative aimed at promoting youth development and community health, the Metropolitan University and Knocking Collaborators Youth Foundation (KCYF) organized a Voluntary Blood Donation and Free Blood Group Testing Program. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from university students, who came forward to donate blood and avail of free blood group testing.
The programme was honored by the presence of Metropolitan University Board of Trustees Vice Chairman Tanwir Rahman Chowdhury and University Vice ChancellorProfessor Dr. Mohammad Jahirul Hoque. Both dignitaries visited the blood donation camp, interacted with the volunteers and donors, and lauded KCYF for their commendable effort in organising such a beneficial event for the community.
Vice Chairman Tanwir Rahman Chowdhury expressed his appreciation, saying, "Initiatives like these not only foster a spirit of community service among our youth but also play a crucial role in saving lives. I applaud KCYF and the students of Metropolitan University for their dedication and hard work."
