Metropolitan University Celebrates World Teachers' Day

Metropolitan University celebrated World Teachers' Day 2024 with great enthusiasm. To honor the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students and society, a discussion session was organized on Sunday (October 6).


The university's Treasurer, Professor Md. Taher Billal Khalifa, Ph.D., presided over the meeting.


The discussion session, moderated by Registrar Mr. Tarek Islam, was welcomed by Deputy Registrar Mihir Kanta Chowdhury. Other distinguished speakers included Professor Md. Nazrul Haque Chowdhury, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Science & Technology, Dr. Mohammad Jamal Uddin, Dean of the School of Business and Economics, Dr. Rama Islam, Head of the Department of English, Sheikh Ashrafur Rahman, Dean in Charge of the School of Law, and Dr. M. Z. Ashraful, Head of the Department of Law and Justice and Student Welfare Advisor.


Heads of various departments, teachers, officers, and staff were present at the discussion session.


The speakers said that Metropolitan University is committed to creating a supportive environment for teachers. It was expressed that the university will continue its efforts to achieve quality education.
