Diamond Team felicitated for being Runners-up in Clemon Uni Cricket
Diamond Team of Metropolitan University has become Runners up in the Clemon Indoor Uni Cricket Tournament held in Dhaka with the participation of 32 universities of the country.
For this tremendous achievement, the Diamond Team was felicitated by Metropolitan University Sports Club on Wednesday, the 16th?May 2018. In the ceremony, crests were handed over to all the players and officials of the Diamond Team.
The programme was presided over by the Vice Chancellor in Charge of the University, Professor Shiba Prasad Sen?while the Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury was the Chief Guest.
Metropolitan University Brand Ambassador and former captain of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, Kh. Md. Rajin Saleh Alam; Advisor of the MU Sports Club, Professor Choudhury M. Mukammel Wahid; Public Relations Officer, Lukman Ahmed Chowdhury, Team Manager of the Diamond Team, Mr. Tarek Islam were also present in the ceremony.
The Diamond Team handed over the Runners-up trophy and prize money to the Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury at the end of the programme. .
