Metropolitan University Model United Nations Association (MUMUNA) has started its official journey on 24th September 2018. The organisation was inaugurated by the Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Shiba Prasad Sen. The inaugural ceremony was held in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall. Among those who were present included Mr. Anik Biswas, Head of the Dept. of English; Mr. Masud Rana , Head of the Dept. of Business Administration; Mr. Ziaur Rahman Titu, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration; Mr. Tarek Islam, Director (Administration); Mr. Mihir Kanti Choudhury, Deputy Registrar and Mr. Lukman Ahmed Chowdhury, Assistant Registrar & PRO. After the inaugural ceremony, there was an MUN workshop which was conducted by Chowdhury Mujaddid Ahmed, General Secretary of Dhaka University Model United Nations Association. During the programme, students of Metropolitan University were introduced with the world of diplomacy. Model United Nations is one of the renowned Youth Conferences worldwide. This conference is held in the majority countries of the world with great importance. .
