Metropolitan University observes the National Mourning Day 2014.
?If we do not ensure real assessment of Bangabandhu we can never make progress as a nation. It is not correct that some stray solider killed him rather international conspiracy was behind that. He is Bangabandhu who set up our country to peak of Himalayan was murdered with his family but it is not possible to wipe out his ideology and philosophy. Bangabandhu's ideal, patriotism, philosophy and values to work together to implement the order. He was the first ruler to creating history as the first thought of Bengal? says, honourable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Saleh Uddin while Metropolitan University was observing the National Mourning Day marking the 39th anniversary of the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at University Library Hall. The dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences Prof. Dr Suresh Ranjan Basak preside this seminar and says, ?For having our less prudence in politics Bangabandhu is not being evaluated correctly and this is very shameful matter for us as a nation. Bangabandhu and Bangladesh is not distinct. Being civilian of a free nation we must accept Bangabandhu. Everyone should be paid homage as per his contribution.?
