Metropolitan University stood first in the Tech fiesta 2016 Robotic Competition organised by the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Khulna University. 46 Universities from all over the country participated in the competition. The robot innovated by Raju Miah, a student of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Metropolitan University competed with renowned universities like BUET, RUET, CUET, KUET AND SUST and stood first. Shahjalal University of Science and Technology stood second and Khulna University Engineering and Technology third in the completion. Raju was awarded by Championship Crest and Prize Money. He started practicing with electronics while he had just joined University. Raju stated, he will be working forward to invent more modern robots and devices for the country.
