Metropolitan University Bondhushava has been selected as the best Bondhushava out of more than 130 Bondhushava across the country for making a video documentary, celebrating 5 million readers of Daily Prothom Alo on printed paper.
On May 20th?2022, the names of top 5 Bondhushava were announced out of 130 Bondhushava participated in a documentary making competition. The programme was held at the Dhaka Divisional Bandhusabha held at Jahangirnagar University organized by Prothom Alo Bandhusabha on the occasion of Prothom Alo's 5 million readerships.
Associate Editor of Prothom Alo and Editor of Kishore Alo Dr. Anisul Haque were present on the occasion. Those who attended the programme included among others the Managing Secretary of Prothom Alo, Sajjad Sharif, Actress Safa Kabir, President of the National Board of Bondhushava Uttam Roy, Executive President Mausumi Mau, and General Secretary Zafar Sadiq.
Regarding the award, Organizing Secretary of Metropolitan University Bondhushava, Tajnin Hossain Chowdhury said, 'The credit for this award goes to all our friends. We are delighted to be able to present our University and Bondhushava at the national level.'
The Gender Equality Secretary of Metropolitan University Bondhushava, Shakil Ahmed said while receiving the award, 'I have come to Dhaka on behalf of my Bondhushava to receive the award. In the midst of so many people, when the name of my university was being announced, I was feeling proud. Because, leaving behind all Bondhushavas of many districts and Universities, we have got the best place of the country. We always want to present our university at the national level, and we will continue to do so in the future."
The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury congratulated MU Bondhushava for this wonderful achievement. He hoped that the MU Bondhushava would continue to move forward through social, cultural and humanitarian activities.It is also important to note that? for its good work, the Metropolitan University Bondhushava got third position last year, surpassing more than 130 Bondhushava in the country and abroad.
