Nine students of Metropolitan University have achieved 6^th?Duke of Edinburgh International Award. The University has arranged a reception programme for the awardees on 15^th?February 2019. Nishat Tabassum, Faija Jannant Jamali, Md. Sihab Uddin, Md. Abdus Salam, Md Iqbal Hussain, Lukman Ahmed, Muminul Hoque Fahim, Shakil Hasan and Sanjan Ahmed Suhan have received the award. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Shiba Prasad Sen, The Chairman Board of Trustees Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, Registrar Muhammad FR Tanvir, Dean of all schools and Heads of departments were present on the occasion. The 6^th?Duke of Edinburgh International Award was held on December 10, 2018, in the British High Commission in Dhaka. Only the students of Metropolitan University? received this award from Sylhet.
