A seminar on ?Birth and Death of Postmodernism? was held in Metropolitan University. Organised by the Department of English on Sunday 23^rd?September 2018, the Seminar was presided over by Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English Mr. Anik Biswas. The Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak was the keynote speaker in the seminar.

Besides, Professor of the Department of English, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology? Dr. Hussain Al Mamun,? faculty members of the department of English, Metropolitan University and students were present in the seminar.

Birth of postmodernism, evolution, difference between modernism and postmodernism was discussed in the seminar.
