?Students of current generation are the future of the nation. One day they will take responsibility to lead the country therefore they should promote themselves as an ideal citizen of the nation? says Professor Dr. M. Golam Shahi Alam while he was delivering his speech as chief guest of Spring Term?15 orientation programme on Wednesday. He also says, properly educated students have successful career in home country in abroad as well. Private Universities are also contributing to improve the quality of education in the nation. The programme is presided by the Vice Chancellor of Metropolitan University Prof. Md. Saleh Uddin. Deputy Registrar Mihir Kanti Choudhury delivered the welcome speech. Besides, Pro-VC Shiba Prashad Sen, Treasurer Prof. Khandker Mahmudur Rahman, Muhitul Bari Rahman (Member BoT), Barrister M Arosh Ali (Dean, School of Law), Prof. Suresh Ranjan Basak (Dean, School of Humanities & Social Sciences), Chowdhury M. Mukammel Wahid (Dean, School of Science & Technology), Md. Jamal Uddin (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Business Administration), Rama Islam (Head, Dept. of English), Sheikh Ashrafur Rahman (Head, Dept. of Law & Justice), Miah Md. Asaduzzaman (Head, Dept. of EEE) remain present in the programme.
