"Visual experience is more effective than the conventional and theoretical teaching method." The students of 31st and 32nd batches of the Department of Law and Justice, Metropolitan University, Sylhet established the statement by visiting the judicial proceedings of Habiganj District Judge Court on March 04, 2019.
The students visited the Court under the supervision of Mr. Md. Sher-E-Alam, Assistant Professor of the relevant Department. Observing the trial sessions, introduction with the documents of a civil suit by the help of Mr. Sazzad Hossain (the honourable Senior Assistant Judge, Sadar), visit of various sections and offices under the Court and participation in a? memorable meeting were the parts of their court visit.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Amjad Hossain, the honourable District and Session Judge, Habiganj. Mr. Zia Uddin Mahmud (the honourable District Judge, Nari O Shishu Nirjatan Daman Tribunal-2), Mr. Mohammad Halimullah Chowdhury (the honourable District Judge, Nari O Shishu Nirjatan Daman Tribunal-3), Mrs. Begum Tania Kamal (the honourable Chief Judicial Magistrate), Muhammad Sazzad Hossain (the honourable Senior Assistant Judge, Sadar), Mr. Shahriar Iqbal (the honourable Assistant Judge, Nabiganj) also presented in the meeting.
The Judges and Magistrate shared their experiences through a question-answer session and gave the guidelines for the students by their valuable speeches. Mr. Md. Sher-E-Alam gave thanks for permission and cordial cooperation to the Honourable District and Session Judge. At the end of the session Mr. Md. Sher-E-Alam presented a crest as a? token of appreciation to Mr. Amjad Hossain.
