?Shahjalal University Debating Society (SUDS)?, the central Debating organization of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, has organized Sylhet Divisional Community Debate Completion and Public Speaking Competition on the occasion of ?14th Inter Department Debate Competition 2014? at 9am in the mini-auditorium of SUST. Beside debaters from SUST, some other renowned University, Medical College and College students participated in this competition. 13 students from several departments of Metropolitan University participated in this event. Ms. Sanjida, one of the participants of MU, came up second in Public Speaking Category. She is the student of 28th batch in the Department of English. We all congratulate him on her brilliant success. Mr. Gazi Saiful Hasan, Senior Lecturer of the Dept. of Law & Justice, and Mr. Anupam Kamal Sen, lecturer of Dept. of English, were present there to assist and give them guidelines. At the end of the programme, all students were awarded with certificates. Students were so much happy and excited by attending this sort of event, and they expect to take part in these programmes in the future.
