Since the massive flooding, University students have supported the thousands of flood-affected families in the Sylhet and Sunamganj regions.
Various organizations of students, including Social Services Club, CSE Society, English Society, Law Students Forum, Law Clinic, Business Students Forum, and Bondhushova, have rushed to different upazilas with relief.
Apart from this, students of different batches and many students have stood by the affected on their own initiative.
The students prioritized the distribution of chira, muri, molasses, biscuits, baby food, saline, water purification tablets, and clean drinking water in addition to cooked meals.
In this regard, Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury, the chairman of the Metropolitan University, remarked, "We always pay attention to humanitarian initiatives." We work hard to mold our students into ethical, moral people. Our students have advanced with the aid of compassion, just as the University administration has supported the flood victims.
