The Metropolitan University's Academic Council met for the 36th time on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. The meeting was conducted in the university's IQAC conference room, and it was presided over by Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak, the treasurer of the University.
The decisions made at the last Academic Council meeting were approved today, along with the academic calendar, Outcome Based Curriculum of the Honors and Masters programs of the six departments, and the list & registration of students who have graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees from various departments.
Professor Dr. Suresh Ranjan Basak? introduced Professor Md. Nazrul Haque Chowdhury PhD, who is the University's new registrar and dean of the School of Science and Technology. The Academic Council members congratulated him. In addition, Barrister Arash Ali, a member of the Academic Council, received genuine gratitude for his special contribution in the great liberation war of Bangladesh.
