The Independence and National day 2018 was celebrated on Monday (March 26th) through various programmes. It included hosting of national flag, discussion meeting on the significance of the day and cultural programme. A discussion meeting was held at the open stage of the university at 11am. Convener of the Independence Day Celebration Committee and Dean of the School of Law, Professor Dr. M. Rabiul Hussain presided over the meeting while Vice Chancellor In Charge of the University, Professor Shiba Prasad Sen was the Chief Guest of the programme. Besides, Deans of schools, Heads of Departments, Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Director (Administration), Director (Finance), Deputy Director (F&A) and other officials, and employees were also present in the programme. At the end of the discussion meeting, cultural a programme were organised with the participation of teachers and students. Meanwhile, on the occasion of Independence and National day Liberation War Film exhibition will be held on Tuesday, the 27th March 2018 in Professor Habibur Rahman Library Hall from 11am to 3pm.
