The Metropolitan University family has expressed deep grief over the death of former finance minister and former MP of Sylhet 1 constituency, Abul Maal Abdul Muhith.
University Chairman Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury and Vice-Chancellor Professor Md. Saleh
Uddin PhD? expressed their grief and sorrow. The university's public relations department conveyed a statement of sorrow to the media on Saturday.
In the condolence message, Toufique? Chowdhury and Saleh? Uddin ?said, "Abul Maal Abdul Muhith had a colorful life. He was active in the Bengali language and freedom movements. He was essential in creating the foundation for Bangladesh's economy. Muhith, who holds the record for presenting the highest budget, has died, and the country and the nation have lost a magnificent man."
They expressed their heartfelt sorrow for the grieving family and wished the departed soul peace.
