Three Teachers Join International Conference in IUB

There Faculty members from the department of English, Metropolitan University were invited to join an International Conference held in Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) at the initiative of The School of Humanities & Social Sciences of the University on 19th?July 2019.

Conference titled ?21st?Century Social Science: Strategy for survival during the fourth industrial revolution? was attended by teachers from different countries.

Mr. Anik Biswas, Assistant Professor & Head of the department of English; Assistant Professor, Ms Snigdha Das and Assistant Professor, Ms Sanjida Chowdhury attended the conference from Metropolitan University. They discussed on ?Trap and Emancipation of Human Beings in Lokenath Bhattacharya?s?The Virgin Fish of Babughat?, ?Politics of Manipulation at the Cost of Public Interest: A Re-reading of Ibsen's An Enemy of the People.? and ?Politicization in an Enemy of the People: A Study on Liberal Class and Power Elite.? respectively. Their discussion in the conference was highly appreciated by the audience
