| Marketing is a field of uniqueness and individuality, a passion of thinking “Out of the Box” that comes from within the individual. Being a part of BBA & MBA, both Major in Marketing at Metropolitan University was like knowing your own individuality. The exposure they provide helps our potentials to be harnessed, skills to be developed, confidence to be built and dreams to be realized. Studying Marketing, has widened my perspective and also given me an idea of the importance of marketing in today’s day and age. The faculties and staff are very helpful and are always present to clear our doubts and to lead us in the right path. Marketing is fun to learn, and applicable in so many areas you might not expect. Gaining an awareness and understanding on branding, marketing plans, social media are all things that can help you in your career. It gives me a great pleasure to say with pride that I have completed my graduation and post-graduation from School of Business, Metropolitan University. The relationship between faculties and students is very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. The five years spent here were splendid and has helped me to grow better professionally & personally. I would like to thank all the faculties and staff for making me a better person. I currently work at Eurokids, Sylhet as a Teacher. I am responsible for preparing and delivering lessons to the students as per the prescribed curriculum, conduct class as per the lesson plan, deal with any issue that arises, maintain a neat, orderly & attractive classroom and build a positive relationship with parents and staffs. I have been acknowledged as “Teacher of the Year” in Session 2015-16. On the other hand, marketing major gave me the confidence to break into business. I have found business to be more exciting and challenging than anything I have ever encountered. I run an online business related to handicrafts and cosmetics named as “Shopping Buzz”. It is a well-recognized online shop in all over Bangladesh. I have also been interviewed by Jamuna Television for the youth inspiring programme called “Start”. I would recommend our Metropolitan University because what you learn in all the classes will give you a new perspective on the world of business. | It has always been a matter of proud to be a Metropolitian. Our graduates are confidently competing with other graduates of the country. I had been working with DuSai Resort and currently working with The Palace Luxury Resort. Being a Business Graduate, starting career in Hospitality was not an easy choice. But, thats how MU build their pupils. The standardised curriculum and the selfless effort of Faculty members make the graduates prepare to take and overcome any challenges. No matter what your certificate shows or what your grades are, the learning friendly environment of MU can instil such a confidence in you that you become ready to take up any challenges at any phase of life.
