A hearty welcome to the School of Science & Technology

This School commenced its mission in enlightening the horizon of Science and Technology in 2003. The aims and objectives are to fulfill the social responsibilities and uncover the shortcomings in building up the skilled graduates to facilitate them in the mission to be thoroughly conversant with the assigned curriculum approved by the University Grants Commission. At present, the School of Science & Technology offers four undergraduate programs and one post graduate program in the departments of CSE and EEE. Majority of the students of Metropolitan University are studying in this school and a good number of competent, dedicated and well-qualified faculty members engage themselves to help them acquire professional spirit to be of use in the field of Science & Technology.

The School provides the students with sufficient number of laboratories enriched with equipment. Academic activities along with co-curricular activities are simultaneously going on under the vigilant coordination and cordial care of the dedicated teachers. Seminars , symposiums and research presentations are frequently held to enhance teachers’ & students’ research horizons. The teachers always publish their research works in different impact factor Journals. Showcasing a new and modern EVM to the Election Commission , the students of this School achieved opportunity of drawing the attention of the high Officials of the Government and could innovate the new comers.

The School has about 200 alumni, forming an Alumni Association representing the school getting employment in Banks, Software Companies , multinational companies and also abroad.

It’s my staunch faith that a student of this School can equip him/herself with pragmatic education in building up his/her career.
